Bloomies
A girly take on shorties. These are instructions for knitting in
the round, making seamless pants bloomers. Includes short row shaping
for a great fit. This pattern is easier than the Sheepy Pants pattern, with
no grafting or gusset. Detailed instructions included for picking up stitches.
The Bloomies pattern is written for 6 sizes, newborn to
toddler. Included are instructions for 3 different waist bands,
several styles of drawstrings, clear instructions for short
rows and 8 different types of ruffles. Includes
lots of pictures to walk you through it.
You will need 100-200g of worsted weight yarn, and needles for circular knitting and small diameter circular knitting (I use 16" circular and double pointed needles in both size 5 and 7 US (3.75mm and 4.5mm). You will need whatever size needles you need to acheive gauge of 5 stitches per inch.
I can also send you a full color, 10 page, hard copy, for an additional
4.00. I also offer a service where I will custom size your pattern for you,
your measurements, your gauge, my math. This is $5.00 extra. Contact me
if you're interested in these options.
Errata are available for this pattern. Version 1.1 is corrected.

Customer Comments:
"Awesome Pattern! The directions are very clear, concise & accurate. The pattern is written just as if Mandie was sitting next to you giving step by step directions. So many cuff options I can’t decide which to start next!"
"They are so cute that even my dh approves! Love the frills, a really good alternative to shorties :-) "
"Your format is so easy to follow."
"You have *totally mastered* short rows. I have used short rows on at least 7 or8 things, and have tried at least 3 other methods. *Yours is the best by far. * Extremely simple, and virtually invisible. I actually had trouble finding my short rows when I was looking for them."
"I love that your pattern variations are spelled out right in the patttern."
"I love the Techniques and Tips at the end (won't have to go dig up a how to knit book! Yay!)"
