Fingerlings
My daughter kept stealing my fingerless gloves and folding them back over her knuckles, so I finally decided to make her her own pair. The other 2 kids had to have them too. They're quick and easy to make and fun to wear.
This is an beginner pattern for making fingerless gloves for kids. Knit flat on 2 needles, sizes to fit from toddlers to teens. If you know how to knit and knit 2 together, you can make these.
Options include a provisional cast on and grafting for a seamless look, or knitting flat and sewing up. Full color photo instructions included.
Requires 30g of worsted weight yarn and needles to get a gauge of about 5 stitches per inch (7 is a good guess). Gauge is not crucial for these.
