Sheepy Skirt Collection

This is a pattern collection for a skirt and diaper cover combination. Really many patterns in one, with many options to choose from for 19 variations of skirt, 20 edge finishings, and 3 styles of waistband.

Made with wool, the skirt can function as a cloth diaper cover and clothing in one. Made from cotton, acrylic, or another fiber, it makes a cute machine washable skirt for any baby.

These skirts can also be worked with Sheepy Pants or Shorts as the under skirt portion if you have that pattern.

With all the variations the combinations are endless. Get creative and have fun!

These are instructions for knitting in the round, making a seamless skirt and diaper cover. It will walk you through everything step by step. Some versions of the pattern are easy for a beginner. Others will keep an advanced knitter interested.

It has 6 sizes, newborn to toddler. Requires between 100 and 400g worsted weight yarn. Most versions require 16" circular needles in a size to get a gauge of 5 stitches per inch (for me this is size 7), plus a 16" needle 2-3 sizes smaller for waistband ribbing.
